Unboxing & What’s Included:
Check your box for the following:
Smoke alarm unit
Mounting bracket
AC Quick Connector harness
Screws and plastic anchors
Instruction manual
Dust cover (pre-installed)
Powering the Device:
Ensure the power circuit is turned off.
Wire the alarm using the AC quick connector (Black = Live, White = Neutral, Red = Interconnect).
Install a 9V carbon zinc battery before sealing the compartment.
Once powered, the green LED will light up.
Common Setup Issues:
Alarm doesn’t power on → Recheck wiring connections and ensure the circuit is active
LED does not illuminate → Replace the unit or check the connector fit
Alarm won’t test → Ensure battery is installed and secure
Set up Steps:
Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker.
Remove mounting bracket and secure it to the ceiling/wall using included anchors and screws.
Wire the AC Quick Connector to your junction box wiring (Black = Hot, White = Neutral, Red = Interconnect).
Insert the 9v battery into the compartment.
Attach the alarm to the mounting bracket by rotating counterclockwise.
Plug in the AC connector; you should hear a click when locked.
Turn power back on and check for green LED.
Test using the TEST/SILENCE button.
